It is an opportunity to see how local fruits like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow, as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village economy, and agricultural and cultural life. When you get to the waterfall, you can refresh yourself in the natural pool, so swimsuits will come in handy!

Our day begins after a hearty breakfast at 07:00 am, as we embark on a journey to Materuni village nestled on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

This remarkable village, devoid of common tourist trappings, offers an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture. Your odyssey commences with a captivating stroll through a coffee plantation, where you'll gain insights into the intricacies of coffee
cultivation. Take the opportunity to actively participate in the art of roasting, pounding, and grinding your coffee.

Next, you'll venture to Materuni Waterfalls. Along this enchanting path, you'll traverse plantations brimming with local fruits and lush vegetation.

After exploring Materuni, we will go on a scenic drive to Chemka Hot Spring, also known as "Maji Moto."

This 1-hour journey unveils the authentic essence of everyday life, providing glimpses of local markets
and rural farms. Once we arrive, we will have lunch and then prepare to immerse ourselves in the pleasantly
warm waters, perfect for a refreshing dip. Delight in moments of exhilaration as you swing on the rope
swing, relax in the sun-dappled shade of age-old trees, and relish local culinary delights such as "Mishkaki" (grilled meat skewers), "Nyama Choma" (BBQ), and "Chips Mayai" (French fry with egg omelet). As your day unfolds with exciting experiences under the African sun, we will drive back to Arusha.
