10:30am Tosho-gu Shrine Complex.
Nikko Toshogu Shrine enshrines the most famous samurai leader Tokugawa Ieyasu. Its carved and brilliantly decorated structures are part of the Shrines and Temples of Nikko UNESCO World Heritage site and the highlight of any visit to Tochigi.

Stop 4

The scenic lake with Mt. Nantai in the background has a circumference of 25 km. Do not miss the spectacular 97m high Kegon Falls. Kegon Falls belong to the Three Great Waterfalls of Japan. The other two are the Nachi Falls within the Wakayama Prefecture and Fukuroda Falls in Daigo within the Ibaraki region.

Stop 5

The almost 100 meter tall Kegon Waterfall (華厳の滝, Kegon no taki) is the most famous of Nikko's many beautiful waterfalls. In fact, it is even ranked as one of Japan's three most beautiful falls.
