Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Enjoy the majestic view of Mt Fuji from several photo spots!

2

One of the most desirable destinations around Mt. Fuji. You can get an awesome picture of Mt. Fuji with the Chureito Pagoda. I'm not going to lie, it's a bit of a climb lol

3

This is the shrine located at the base of the park. This shrine is for the goddess of fire, one of the smaller shrines out at Fuji.
You thought the 2 minute climb up here was bad? Nah mate, still like 300 steps to climb to get to the view haha

4

Now this is what we're all here for! Fantastic view of Mt Fuji and the village! There's something here for each season so I expect to see you back here in 3 months haha Least walking downhill isn't too tiring

5

Here you can learn about the history of Fuji and its culture. But I mean... We are literally at Mt Fuji.... Don't worry I tell the history and culture better anyway, best we skip this one hey?

6
Stop 6

A quiet lake, great for taking in the scenery and getting amazing photos! Is what I would say if the Japanese didn't come here on the weekends on their jetskis lol Still good though

7
Stop 7

A beautiful park by Kawaguchiko Lake with an astonishing variety of flowers. Best known for its lavenders. If I had an ounce of romance in me, this is where I'd go for a romantic date

8

Ice cream Ice cream Ice cream. That's all you need to know. Just in case you wanted some more info, it's right next to the garden.

9

Japanese people fish here. It's one of the 5 lakes surrounding Mt Fuji. Honestly, not too much to see here, let's just do a quick drive-by.

10

A shrine built for a new era of Fuji worship. This place is brimming with historic importance. Where is the line between genuine religion and a cult? Sorry got distracted for a sec. Anyways, this is where some people start climbing Mt Fuji!

11

From nature to a traditional village, they have it all here.

12

This one's simple. Do you like Sake? Yes? Awesome. Here you can do a tasting of Sake and Whiskey. Feel the power of Mt Fuji as you sip on alcohol made with melted snow water!

13

This is my personal favorite lake. Less people on jetskis, more quiet walk by the lake;)

14
Stop 14

Right. 5th station. Great for viewing the tip of Mt Fuji if we can't see anything from the town as it's a lot higher in elevation. Some decent shops for getting souvenirs. Great views all round. It snows a fair bit during winter, but don't worry we don't have polar bears in Japan. Yet.

15
Stop 15

It's a cable car. Rope way=Cable car. now, with that out the way, it's quite nice. We can get a fabulous view of the two major cities and Kawaguchiko Lake, not to mention Mt Fuji. There is a pair of swings at the top of a hill up there that makes for a great picture!

16

One of the old villages near Mt Fuji. Great place if you want some pics in kimonos and samurai gear, they have them for rent! Mt Fuji view, old Japanese buildings plus lots of things to see and do.

17

Easy difficulty: There are 2 sections where you need to crouch a bit but nothing too bad. This cave is slightly warmer than the Ice cave.

18
Stop 18

Medium difficulty: There are a few places that are quite low, 3 feet/1 meter ish? This is the coldest of the 3 caves.

19
Stop 19

Hard difficulty: This is the cave with the lowest sections. They make you wear a helmet. This is the most adventurous of the 3 caves.

20

Want to save big on brand names? This is the perfect spot for it;)
