Stop 1

This is where the tour starts. Here the travelers will hear about the history of Tirana, and the history of the buildings around the square. The Opera House, the Clock Tower, National History Museum, the Municipality of Tirana, the National Bank, the National Puppets Theater, Ministry Buildings, etc.

Stop 2

This is the only remaining mosque from the 19 century in Tirana. Beautifully decorated it is a gem of architecture and art in the heart of Tirana.

The New Bazaar is a lively area with a fruit and vegetable market, meat and fish market as well as many cafes and restaurants. Much preferred to the local citizens of Tirana it is also one of the main tourist attractions. The tour will continue toward the Tanners Bridge (Ottoman era stone bridge from the 18th century), Namazgjah Mosque (the newest and biggest mosque in Albania) and Parliament Building.

Here we find the Castle of Tirana, National Academy of Sciences (former house of King Zog I), Pedestrian Street, Toptani Shopping Center, Saint Paul Catholic Cathedral.

Café-Museum located inside one of the communist era apartments. Communist era artefacts like old radios, furniture, tools, kitchenware, silverware, cups and glasses are only some of the objects that can be seen. Here the travelers will have coffee, refreshments, or rakia the Albanian famous spirit.

Stop 6

This iconic building was a museum dedicated to the Albanian communist leader(dictator). After the fall of the communist regime in Albania, the building was used as a discotheque, cultural center, radio station, and fair exhibition area.
Now, the pyramid has been reconstructed with a modern architecture and will be the largest technological center in the Balkans focusing on Information and digital technology.

This is the main boulevard in Tirana, build in 1930s. Along this boulevard the travelers will see the main government buildings and will learn about the modern history of Tirana and Albania.

This is the second largest square in the center of Tirana. Here the travelers will get to see the Tirana University Building, Art University, Air Albania Arena, and other iconic and historical buildings. This is the end of the walking and the tour will continue with the vehicle.

BUNK'ART 1, is a video museum exhibition situated inside the atomic bunker of the dictator Enver Hoxha, on the outskirts of Tirana. It was opened for the public in 2014. The museum covers the period of world war 2 and communist Albania.
