La Spezia is a beautiful port city in Liguria with a rich history, stunning landscape, and great culture. This tour is an amazing opportunity to spend just a couple hours of your day enjoying some beautiful panoramic views and learning interesting history and facts about the city. We will also get to venture through a small museum of ancient Roman artifacts from the region! The best part? The walk is leisurely, we will be using an elevator to get up high to the castle so you don't have to worry about climbing any big hills. Bottled water will be provided, as well as a local snack for you to taste. I'll be sure to bring a fun, inviting, and enthusiastic attitude as it is a passion of mine to share the beauty of this city with travelers!
We will travel up an elevator to visit the castle and go on the terrace. This features breathtaking, panoramic views of La Spezia that includes the Apuane mountains and the Ligurian sea. Perfect for photos as well, I'd be happy to take your picture!
We will walk along the port and enjoy a beverage of your choice that includes wine, beer, water, or soft drinks.
We will move from the pier through a couple of my favorite places on the way back, including a park with an amazing statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi, and of course the Corso Cavour market!
We will meet here at the fountain in the piazza! It has a round shaped statue right in the middle.
