About this experience

Book your roundtrip transportation in advance and relax as we take you by air-conditioned bus to the National Aviary in Barú. We will pick you up at the corner of the Juan Valdez cafeteria in the convention center early in the morning and begin your journey to Barú while admiring the panoramic views of the city and the sea. Upon arrival you will purchase the entrance to the Aviary. Once there we will begin to discover the aerial fauna of the country. There we will have the opportunity to meet all kinds of birds in their natural state and we will learn about each of the species. Throughout the tour of the aviary. Once we finish being fascinated by the toucans, flamingos and other species that we see, we will take the minibus again to head to Playa Blanca where you can have fun sunbathing and take a dip in the sea. We will leave at 3:00 p.m. for a comfortable trip back to the walled city.

Stop 1

We will pick up the travelers and meet them, then we will move to our first attraction.

This beautiful island has 3 towns: Ararca, Santana and the last district called Barú, where fishermen islanders live who currently see tourism as their main source of income. In this case, you will only pass through Ararca and Santana, and after 5 minutes of travel, you will find our attraction.

Stop 3

The transport will drop you off at the national aviary. Upon arrival you will buy the entrance to the Aviary. Once there we will begin to discover the aerial fauna of the country. There we will have the opportunity to see all kinds of birds in their natural state and we will learn about each of the species. Throughout the tour of the aviary, the guide will talk to us about the diversity of birds that fly through the Colombian skies and the importance of preserving forests, beaches and jungles for the survival of these colorful beings.

Stop 4

Once we have finished being fascinated by the toucans, flamingos and other species that we see, we will take the minibus again to go to Playa Blanca, where you can have fun sunbathing and taking a dip in the sea.
