Ciucas Massif – less known than Fagaras or Bucegi, has mountain trails with beautiful landscapes and they are charming in every season. You can add some interesting limestone formations all the way to the top so you have all the ingredients you need for a memorable day.

You will meet your mountain guide at 06.00 in the morning at the reception of your hotel and head directly to Ciucas Mountains. This is a private tour so you will enjoy the permanent attention and advice of your guide. On this route you will need proper mountain equipment, so we recommend that you contact us to advise on the right equipment for the time you want to climb.
On our way to the top we'll pass by mountain huts, take long breaks to enjoy the view and take pictures, so make sure you have full batteries and a generous data card.
The last stop before the peak is Ciucas Chalet. We'll stop here for lunch, then we'll head for the top.
The route will take around 6-7 hours and is medium difficulty, without going through technical or difficult zones. We will climb about 700 m altitude up to 1954 m.
We return to Bucharest around 21:00
