Wengen is a lovely car-free mountain town at 1274m (4 180ft). It's located on a big cliff between Lauterbrunnen and Männlichen so the views are just stunning.
Me and my little dog friend would like to take you to the most charming part of town. This is where the first residents of Wengen settled, now a small habitat of a few farms. This place will show us the true beauty of the Swiss alpine countryside from old days, full of cheese from local farms and animals grazing grass around.
Along the way, we will have beautiful views on famous Lauterbrunnen valley, Jungfrau, Mürren, Schiltorn (from old James Bond movie) and learn about it, so you will get bunch of tips what to do in next days of your stay.
However, views and informative aspect of the tour are not everything - we will pass trust shop on local farm, where we will have opportunity to buy ice cream, cheese and cold cuts directly from the farmer. Prepare some cash for this occasion because they are truly delicious!
Along the way, we will see beautiful views on the famous Jungfrau, Mürren, Schiltorn (place of James Bond movie production) and the Lauterbrunnen valley literally all the time.

Did you know that since 1930 the longest and most difficult Ski Slalom in Europe - the International Ski World Cup "Lauberhorn race" is taking place exactly in Wengen every year? We will have the opportunity to see with our own eyes how steep slopes skiers from all over the world face every year.
