Detailed itinerary

Once you disembark from the cruise ship, your tour will begin. The journey to Taormina will take approximately 45 minutes on the motorway.

The first stop on our tour will be the beautiful Taormina and its characteristic Greek theatre. Its Greek-Roman style will leave you breathless, Corso Umberto and its typical streets will enchant you. Once we have finished seeing the city center of Taormina we will go to admire "Beautiful Island" known for its beauty.

After exploring the culture and history of Taormina, you will head to Cantine Bonfiglio, a DA founded in 1986 that from generation to generation combines Sicilian tradition with modern winemaking techniques.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the Bonfiglio family and guided through the lotus vineyards. The tasting includes the flavors of the "Donne di Famiglia" line including the "Beatrice" Faro DOC (rich and full-bodied red) and the "Eleonora" Rosato (fresh and elegant rosé, but with a lighter and fruitier Listing)
You will also taste wines from the "Places of Origin" line, such as :
"Piano Cuturi" Faro DOC (full-bodied red with complex flavors, enhanced by aging in French oak for 24 months) and "Kalonerò" (a unique blend of Nero d'Avola and Nocera)

Upon returning from the Bonfiglio Wineries, we will head towards Messina to admire the beautiful panorama from the highest part of the city: the viewpoint of Christ the King. DA there we will see the whole of Messina and then we will head to the cathedral to admire the square and the ancient astrological clock of our bell tower.
