the Nepali Mandir ( kama Temple ) or, Kanthwala Mandir and Mini Khajuraho (Kanthwala in Hindi means wooden), is one of the oldest and most famous temples in the holy city of Varanasi. The mandir is made of terracotta, stone, and wood and took three decades to complete. The wood is termite-proof. It is surrounded by tamarind and ficus religiosa (peepal) trees. Manikarnika Ghat is one of the holiest cremation grounds among the sacred riverfronts, located on the Ganges, According to Hindu mythology, Manikarnika Ghat is believed to be the place where either the earring or eye of Sati fell down when Lord Shiva was carrying her to the Himalaya. in the city of Varanasi. Every day around 350 bodies are burnt in Manikarnika ghat and sometimes it goes up to 600 also.
