Sundowner is a local favourite and has been operating for 16 years. She is a fully covered purpose built catamaran designed for socialising, and unlike a yacht, we have a flat surface and no trip hazards. There is ample room to move, and high heels are welcome.
The floor plan is perfect for socialising or romanticising. A long table in the centre with chairs either side are perfect for relaxing and socialising or if you want to cosy up with your partner, take the side ottoman with a perfect view out to the islands and watch the sunset.
Sundowner operates a fully licensed bar where you can purchase additional beverages from a selection of 6 wines, 4 beers and all basic spirits.

Sundowner departs from Able Point Marina, Northern Village which is only a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach. Abell Point Marina is a vibrant award winning marina which includes the award winning Hemmingways Restaurant with uninterrupted views across the marina and Sorrento’s Restaurant & Bar located alongside the boardwalk in the Northern Village.
We circumnavigate Pioneer Bay and as we have very little draft we are able are able to get up close and personal to the many points of interest, including Mandalay Point, Cannonvale Beach and a bit of Turtle spotting in Turtle Bay.
Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our sunset cruises, as well as our other cruises including private charters for birthdays, corporate groups, weddings or any celebration.
