This experience lets you surf the world’s largest standing wave, paddle across a stunning 52-acre lagoon, climb and slide on a floating obstacle course and playground, and cool off in a family-friendly splash zone. Perfect for adventurous families and active travelers, it’s the ultimate way to enjoy Hawaiʻi’s water, sunshine, and island spirit all in one place.

Begin your day at the Wai Kai Lagoon Adventure, Hawaiʻi’s only floating playground and obstacle course. When you need a moment to relax, cool off and unwind at the Ohana Splash Pad, a shaded and refreshing water play area perfect for all ages.

Next, explore the expansive Wai Kai Lagoon, and choose from stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and hydro bikes (based on availability) and enjoy the calm, sparkling waters at your own pace. Finally, make your way to the Wai Kai Wave, the world’s largest standing wave, for a surf session.

Guests can check in and receive their activity wristbands at a Guest Service kiosk. Guest Service kiosks for lagoon activities are located next to Sessions Lifestyle & Retail store, and on the lagoon-level boardwalk next to the elevator. Guests are encouraged to arrive and check in at least 30 minutes before their activity starts. Guests are also encouraged to complete their Wai Kai activity waiver before their arrival to expedite the check-in process.
