Our researchers will make this experience unique by letting you discover many curiosities about the life of these marine mammals, you will touch the researcher's work firsthand. Our biologists will be happy to answer all your questions.
During the navigation you will have the opportunity to observe other protected marine species. Finally, before returning, you can take a refreshing swim in the bays near the coast.
The activity is promoted by a non-profit organization for the protection of marine mammals and their environment.
The institution is engaged in research activities for the protection of the sea and biodiversity, with particular regard to the cetacean population of the Sicilian Channel.

Get on board and join the researchers at sea for a day and with a little luck, you will be able to observe dolphins in the open sea, having an unforgettable experience! You will be accompanied by specialized researchers who will let you discover the life of dolphins and the techniques for studying them. The sighting will be conducted following rules not to disturb the animals, as evidenced by the Friend of the Sea eco-sustainability certificate.
The excursion lasts about 4 hours and takes place only with calm seas, we set sail from the port of Porto Empedocle aboard a 6.40m long motor boat.
We will sail off the coast of the province of Agrigento in search of dolphins.
While sailing you will be able to spot other protected species of seabirds, turtles and pelagic fish.
You will also be able to observe the naturalistic and landscape beauties of the coast, such as:
the Scala dei Turchi, the lighthouse of Realmonte and the Torre dei Saraceni.
During the summer season and weather permitting, we will stop in one of the coves on the Agrigento coast with crystal clear water, for a refreshing swim before returning to port.
