On the Food Bike Tour, we'll cycle to two local food stops, spending about 40 minutes at each to learn their stories and enjoy behind-the-scenes experiences. Our food stops will be a breakfast sandwich with Bella Crusta in Canmore and a 3-course lunch at Waldhaus from the Fairmont. The menu is chef curated and the food portions are substantial (not tasters). As we bike between these locations, we'll take in views of the Mountains, Bow River, Banff, engine bridge , Canmore & Banff downtown, Mount Rundle, and spring creek.
We will by cycling on the Legacy trail. The Legacy Trail runs along an old Seaboard Railroad corridor between Venice and Sarasota. Beginning at the Historic Venice Train Depot, the first third of the way to Oscar Scherer State Park is the most scenic and diverse.
We will cycle into Banff. Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline.
We will stop and take pictures at Bow Falls. Bow Falls is a major waterfall on the Bow River, Alberta just before the junction of it and the Spray River. They are located near the Banff Springs Hotel and golf course on the left-hand side of River Roa
We will start in Canmore and cycle to Banff. Canmore is a town in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, west of Calgary. It’s known for craggy summits like the Three Sisters and Ha Ling Peak.
We will cycle past Mount Rundle. Mount Rundle is a mountain in Canada's Banff National Park overlooking the towns of Banff and Canmore, Alberta.
We will be cycling pass the Engine Bridge as we bike to our Food Stop.
We will pass Policeman’s Creek wetland ecosystem, and includes spectacular photo opportunities in all directions, an idyllic creek-side picnic site and some of Canmore’s oldest history.
You will be cycling along the beautiful Bow River
We will be cycling in spring creek - located in the heart of downtown Canmore, and surrounded by two mountain streams, with tranquil stream side pathways that lead you into the downtown core where an array of mountain cuisine & eclectic shopping awaits.

Important: Arrive 8:40AM. 20-minutes before start time as we will be departing at exactly 9AM.
