To the north-west of Slovenia is located National Park Triglav, which cover most of the Julian Alps. This is where is Waterfall Savica and Lake Bohinj are located. Lake Bled is just around thirty minutes away from National Park Triglav. If Your short on time, this experience is great way to explore this sights. Visit Waterfall Savica, Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. Hike to 836m above sea level to reach Waterfall Savica(around twenty five minutes hike). Do short walk and hikes at Lake Bohinj, take picture of golden-horn statue, four brave man statue and visit Church of St. John the Baptist. Travel with Plenta boat, visit the Lake Bled Castle, hike to Mala Osojnica.
Note: There is approximately three hours of traveling to the National Park and back to Ljubljana, an hour will be spent on the lunch break.
After meeting at Dragon Bridge, we are going to Waterfall Savica, it takes around one hour thirty minutes to get to Waterfall Savica. There is a hike around twenty five minutes long, medium level. After taking pictures of Waterfall Savica, there is twenty minutes walk to get back to parking area.
Note: The travel time to get from one place to the other is approximately 3 hours. Also, an hour will be spent on the lunch break.
After Waterfall Savica we are going visit Lake Bohinj, it take around fifteen minutes to reach Lake Bohinj.
At Lake Bohinj You can visit Church of St. John the Baptist, take pictures of mountain goat (the golden horn), take pictures of Lake Bohinj, do small hikes and walk around lake.
After Lake Bohinj I like to recommend local restaurant for local cuisine, we stay at restaurant for one hour. After lunch there is a half an hour drive to Lake Bled. At Lake Bled there are two hikes I like to recommend, first hike is medium level around twenty five minute long, second hike is another twenty five minutes away. You can also visit Lake Bled Castle, there is entrance fee around twelve euros(optional) and traditional Plenta boats to reach Lake Bled island, there is a fee around eighteen euros(optional).To fully explore Lake Bled I recommend full circle of lake around six kilometers, it takes around one hour. After Lake Bled there is a forty minutes drive back to Ljubljana.
