Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center(approximately 50 minutes.). We’d better set off early so that we can catch the best time when most of them are active. In the afternoon, let’s explore in the magical Sanxingdui Museum, which will take you approximate one hour to get here. Sanxingdui is acclaimed as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the 20th century . This theme museum houses delicate artifacts made in bronzes, gold and stones over 3,000 years ago, thousand of which can only been witnessed in the Sanxingdui Museum. These exhibits, such as the Gold-Masked Bronze Human Head and Wheel of Sun, can bring you back to the ancient ages and show us how ancient people sacrifice and worship, giving us a wonderful travel back to the Bronze Age. In addition, you can also watch archaeologists restore artifacts on the spot.
