After freshening up at Finca Don Tricia’s restrooms and getting ready for the adventure, we set off on an exciting drive through old trails, crossing the breathtaking savannah landscape, ancient trees, vast livestock fields, & small agricultural plots while keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, deer, raccoons, birds, & more.

We journey through scenic trails & cross small creeks before reaching the stunning Tizate River, where crystal-clear waters invite you to take a refreshing swim. The experience begins at Finca DonTricia in Cañas Dulces, where we set off on a one-hour ride through scenic backroads lined with ancient trees and local wildlife. Keep an eye out for squirrels, white-tailed deer, coatis, raccoons, anteaters, eagles, hawks, and more.
After driving 15 minutes from Liberia by the highway #1 turn right at Cañas Dulces route and follow the sign to reach Finca DonTricia, just 300meters north from de cementery of Cañas Dulces.
