The carved wooden gates have been the symbol of Maramures for a long time and you will see them on Iza Valley and Mara Valley. You will see also handicrafts men and the famous Merry Cemetery from Sapanta.

The wooden church from Desesti was built in 1770 and the painting inside the church is very well preserved.
