Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Getting to the Peak by the Peak Tram is an unforgettable experience. One of the world's oldest funicular railways, it is one of the most famous attractions in Hong Kong. It offers a thrilling journey to Victoria Peak, providing unparalleled panoramic view of the city's iconic skyline and stunning harbor. You will also take the Peak Tram back to Central after the walk on the Peak.

2

After the 6-min Peak Tram ride you will start to enjoy the fresh air and peace of Victoria Peak and take in the panoramic view of Victoria Harbour. You will then walk the Hong Kong Peak Trail around the Peak for an excellent viewing of the City. The walk is on flat ground and will last for about 60 minutes.

The street was named in 1858 after Henry Pottinger, the first Governor of Hong Kong. It is also known as the Stone Slabs Street as the street is paved unevenly by granite stone steps. This street is a popular location for movie scenes and photo shoots, and it is also a Grade 1 historical location in Hong Kong.

4

Central Market has been through multiple transformations since its emergence as one of Hong Kong's first wet markets. The latest iteration of Central market was a 4-storey building, built in 1939 in the Bauhaus and Streamline Moderne style prevalent at the time. It is now a Grade III historic building and part of the Central and Western Heritage Trail.

5

Tai Kwun is the colloquial name used by Hong Kong people to refer to the former police headquarters. With over 180 years of history, the group of historic buildings are among some of the most significant and visually appealing in town. It is a designated monument in Central that includes three buildings: the former Central Police Station, the Former Central Magistracy, and the Victoria Prison.

Man Mo Temple, distinguished by its green tiled roof, was constructed between 1847 and 1862. The temple contains well-preserved artefacts such as a Qing Dynasty bronze bell cast in 1847 and a sedan chair built in 1862.
Visiting Man Mo Temple is an enlightening experience. Tucked away on Hollywood Road, it is the largest temple in Hong Kong. Visiting this HK attraction allows you to get to know more about the religious and spiritual side of the local Chinese.
