About this experience

Experience two of Spain’s most iconic historic cities in a single day on this full-day excursion from Madrid. Discover Toledo, known as the “City of Three Cultures,” and Segovia, home to one of the world’s finest Roman aqueducts and a fairytale-like medieval castle.

Your day begins with a journey to Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its blend of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritage.

Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, commissioned by Queen Isabella of Castile as a royal mausoleum and considered one of the most significant works of the Catholic Monarchs.

Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, originally built as a synagogue and later converted into a church just two centuries after opening.

After returning to Madrid, you’ll have approximately one hour to enjoy lunch before continuing the tour.

In the afternoon, we will head to Segovia, where your first encounter will be its extraordinary Roman Aqueduct, a perfectly preserved engineering marvel with 167 arches.

Stop 3

We will depart from the Julià Travel office and head toward Segovia. We will park very close to the Aqueduct, the first monument we’ll encounter upon arriving in the city. With its 167 arches, it is considered one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts in the world. Around this area, you’ll also find several notable landmarks such as Segovia’s City Hall and the Juan Bravo Theatre, though the true centerpiece is the Cathedral.
Our walking tour will continue to the Alcázar, one of the best-preserved and most famous medieval castles in the world. It is even said to have inspired Walt Disney for some of his films, including Cinderella’s Castle and the Queen’s Castle in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
