The Mount Sinai tour begins in the evening. After dinner at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, our local guide will pick you up in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to begin one of the most beautiful excursions available from Sharm. The journey from Sharm El Sheikh to Mount Sinai will take approximately 3 hours.

Stop 2

Once you reach the foot of the mountain your excursion to the summit of Mount Sinai. During the climb you will be accompanied by an expert Bedouin alpine guide who will take you to the top of Monte from where you can admire a wonderful sunrise that will illuminate the surrounding desert. Indeed, Mount Sinai is the highest peak in Egypt and with its spectacular 2285 meters above sea level it will offer you one of the most beautiful experiences to do from Sharm, in close contact with nature. The excursion to Mount Sinai offers you the opportunity to visit a place of peace and silence and to attend one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world.

After admiring the sunrise from Mount Sinai, the excursion continues with a visit to St. Catherine's Monastery. Early in the morning, you will begin the descent toward the monastery, the oldest Christian monastery in the world, built in 550 AD. Here, you will admire the Holy Burning Bush, the Chapel of the Transfiguration Church, Moses' Well (where it is said he met his beloved wife), the library, and a vast collection of artifacts, icons, and historical manuscripts. Important Trekking & Fitness Requirement:

To complete the Mount Sinai excursion without issues, you must be reasonably fit and physically prepared for trekking. We recommend comfortable clothing and sturdy trekking shoes; we will provide you with a flashlight.

This Mount Sinai excursion is a strenuous climb and **is not recommended** for young children, pregnant travelers, or anyone with back problems, heart conditions, or difficulty trekking.

Return to Sharm el Sheikh: Finally, after a strenuous but exciting and adventurous journey, we will return to Sharm El Sheikh at approximately 2:00 PM (14:00).
