About this experience

Wilpattu National Park is one of the beautiful national parks in Sri Lanka located in the Intermediate Zone which having both wet & dry climatic seasons. Also its uniqueness of having Freshwater villus gives evergreen lush forests throughout the year. The park it self consists of iconic Sri Lankan Leopards and Sloth Bears along with the gentle giants, Asian Elephants-specially the males who are loners. Not only the mammals, the birds with both migrants and natives (season from November to April). As a company, Experiential Traveller-Sri Lanka, we organize the safari with ethical and responsible travel practices. We try our best to minimize our disturbance to the wildlife and always respect the animals. Also we maintain a proper distance in front of sightings and make sure to not to rush and drive fast inside the park and maintain proper speed limit according to the park rules. The guests should aware as it is not a zoo, the wildlife sightings are not been guaranteed in these safaris.
