Leaving Dublin at 08:00 in the morning, we travel towards the south east of Ireland into the couny of Kilkenny. This Journey will take us approximately 1.5 hours. Kilkenny castle plays a huge part in the Irish history. One of the most spectacular castles nestled in the heart of Kilkenny city. A vibrant and full of medieval character. Enjoy a stroll along the medieval mile and indulge in the mesmerising colours of the castle garden.

Your Trip takes you from the medieval city of Kilkenny to the once viking occupied Waterford city. On arrival to Waterford we park the car and take you to the "Viking Triangle " where your driver will walk you around this inner city area once ruled by vikings. You'll get to immerse yourself into what life was like in Viking times. You'll get to see a replica of a viking ship and see the tower once used to retain prisoners. Walk around the Triangle and burial ground of vikings. After your tour of the Triangle your guide will recommend an establishment for some lunch and maybe you can try a great Irish Coffee to warm the cockles of your heart.
Visit the world renowned Waterford Crystal factory where, you'll get a guided tour around this famous factory. Nearly every household in the world has a piece of Waterford Crystal. See the very talented glass blowers in action and find out about some priceless pieces created for royalty and well known personalities worldwide. You'll get to visit the factory shop and if you wish, you can purchase some of this fine Crystal. Waterford Crystal offer a free shipping service but, there is a fee for insurance. A visit you'll never forget.
