The architecture of the Cefalù Cathedral follows the model of the large Benedictine basilicas of Cluniac origin; with a North European Norman Romanesque style. It is a minor basilica famous throughout the world for its extraordinary beauty.

During the walk through the streets of Cefalù you will find yourself in front of the entrance to the medieval wash house. A place that tells the story of the life of the washerwomen of the past who used this space to wash clothes. A place where time seems to have stopped.
