Welcome to Sihanoukville!

We will meet you at either Sihanoukville Port Gate 2 or the Independence Monument, depending on the drop-off location provided by the cruise's complimentary shuttle service for passengers. Please take this free shuttle bus when you get off from your cruise ship and they will take you to the drop-off point where we will meet you.

Once your shuttle bus arrives at the designated meeting point, please look for your guide and driver, who will be holding a sign with your name clearly printed.

You will visit The Independence Monument in Sihanoukville, built in 1985, honors Cambodia's independence and those who sacrificed their lives in past conflicts. Located on Ekareach Street between the city center and Victory Hill, it sits within a small park. Next to the monument is a shrine used for religious festivals. Featuring a lotus-shaped stupa in traditional Khmer style, it serves as a symbol of national pride and a key landmark for visitors.

The Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak in Sihanoukville is a tribute to Khmer heritage. Erected in 2022, it is the country's largest copper statue, standing 27.34 meters tall, including its pedestal.
The statue depicts the legendary figures Preah Thong (Kaundinya I) and Neang Neak (Queen Soma), who are considered the co-founders of the ancient state of Funan. According to legend, Preah Thong, an Indian prince, arrived in the region and married Neang Neak, a Naga princess. Their union is said to have given rise to the Khmer people and culture.
