The Landmannalaugar Nature Reserve is on of the most colourful and beatiful areas in Iceland. Here the volcanic activity has shaped the landscape in such a way that we have to practise our WOW a lot for this tour.
The drive to the highland is quite beatiful - driving through the farmland of South Iceland and then the driving through the highland to Landmannalaugar is a scenic drive with everchanging landscape on both sides.
On the hike you will see lava field, geothermal hot spring area, more colours than you can imagine and experience one of the best day hikes of your life.
To dip into a natural hot spring pool after the hike gives the day a new meaning.

On this tour we will drive to Landmannalaugar natural reserve - one of the most amazing areas in Iceland. Its about 3 hours drive. There we will take about 5-6 hours hike (not difficult) , a circle in the breathtaking landscape. Visiting geothermal area, Vondugil or the Bad Canyon and other beatiful places.
After our walk we will dip (2 hours) into the natural geothermal hot pool in Landmannalaugar before heading back to Reykjavik.
