Welcome to the "Wine-tour" of Vinho Verde! Come and discover the flavours of this exclusive Portuguese wine, its mysteries, customs and traditions in the emblematic region where it has been produced since time immemorial.

This is an All-Inclusive Private Tour, "private" meaning a van and tour-guide exclusively at your service, "all inclusive" meaning that it's conducted in your chosen language and with all the inclusions mentioned, from the moment of pick-up until your return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Detailed itinerary

We will drive you through the Vinho Verde region enjoying panoramic views on the vineyards.

As a first stop, we will discovering the preserved citadel inside the 17th century fortess of Valença do Minho.
After the visit, we will taste some of the traditional pastries.

The centuries-old rural and green roads will lead us to the heart of the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, the birthplace of the famous Alvarinho grape variety, where we will stop to discover the secrets of Vinho Verde production.

Then, we will delight ourselves with a wine lunch, harmonised with local products and demarcated wines.

After this oenogastronomic experience, the rural and traditional landscapes of the "Green Region" will lead us to discover the typical villages of the oldest Portuguese wine-growing region and the historical legacy that can be found here. We will then do a second tasting of demarcated vinho verde of the distinct varieties from this sub-region, with the harmonisation of regional products, in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
