About this experience

In the cool of the evening, make your way through the Jamaican countryside to the small village of Martha Brae. With your raft captain at the helm, board your sturdy raft for a cruise down the 3-mile stretch of the well-known Martha Brae River. After the relaxation of the Martha Brae River, reboard your bus for a short sightseeing tour of historic Falmouth town. Then it’s time to witness an awe-inspiring phenomenon at the Mystic Lagoon. On arrival at twilight, you will be met by your host, who will promptly offer you a welcome drink. You will see an eerie light show illuminating from the back of the boat and all around from the wake. Swim around and bask in the glow, or just relax with a hand or foot in the water. Your Captain will explain this truly amazing sight! You also will be treated to a Fire Show before you board your bus back to your hotel.

Stop 1

The ride along the coastline will take you through small towns and allow you to truly see how interesting Jamaica is. With your raft captain at the helm, board your sturdy raft for a cruise down the 3-mile stretch of the well-known Martha Brae River. This exhilarating journey takes about 75-90 minutes on the long, 2 person bamboo rafts poled by your skilled guide. The upper reaches tumble at a good pace before slowing farther down river where you may stop at "Tarzan's Corner" for a swing and a swim in a calm pool.

After the relaxation of the Martha Brae River, reboard your bus for a short sightseeing tour of historic Falmouth town. View the school and playground of former 3-times World Olympic Champion, Usain Bolt and learn of his humble background. . Drive pass the old Georgian Building, Water Square, the newly built cruise ship port, St. Peter's Anglican Church which was built in 1796, and the old Courthouse, built in 1817 and once regarded as one of the finest structures in Jamaica.
