Next, we’ll head up to Kruja Castle, a historical stronghold that symbolizes Albania’s long fight for independence. As we explore the castle, your guide will tell you stories about Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, who led the Albanian resistance during the Ottoman Invasion.

Within the castle, we’ll visit the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to the legacy of Skanderbeg. We will head towards the top of the mountain of Kruja driving for around 15 minutes to arrive at the Holy Site of Sarisalltik , we will have a visit in the cave and our guide will explain more about the Bektashi Religion , a religion only found in this part of the Balkans and with the world center in Tirana.
We will also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top of the mountain overlooking Kruja , Tirana , Durres untill the Adriatic Sea .
