Tulum - we visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won't be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).
Here, you'll explore the lush jungle paths by bicycle or tricycle taxi and admire the architecture in structures like Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Situated in the Parque Dos Ojos, cenote Taak Bi Ha is suitable especially for a great snorkeling and diving experience. With crystal-clear waters and spectacular rock formations, it is incredibly beautiful and surrounded by the Mexican jungle.
