Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

When we look at the Colosseum we can only experience a feeling of grandeur and magnificence combined with admiration for those who created something destined to last forever. This is enough to instill in us the desire to know every detail of the monument, to discover its millenary history and its construction secrets and above all to relive a day at the Colosseum in the name of entertainment and fun.

A visit to the Colosseum Arena is much more exclusive than a standard visit to the rest of the amphitheater. Seating capacity is small, so there are far fewer tourists setting foot in this special part of the Colosseum. You will go down to the arena where the gladiators fought!!!

2
Stop 2

After the guided tour of the Colosseum, the tour will continue crossing the square dominated by the Arch of Constantine, one of the three triumphal arches still existing in Rome. The rich decorative apparatus of the arch can be admired, consisting of reliefs and statues, which will allow us to understand the artistic taste of the Romans and the propaganda and celebratory role of art in the service of power.
At the Arch of Titus we will begin the climb towards the Palatine Hill, the most famous of the 7 hills of Rome, a prestigious place heavily loaded with historical memory to which our guides will be able to devote the right attention. In fact, on the palatine you will know the most ancient past of Rome and you will discover those places considered sacred by the Romans for having been the scene of the mythical events that led to the foundation of the city.

3

From the Palatine we will descend into the valley occupied by the Roman Forum, which together with the area of the Imperial Forums, constituted the beating heart and monumental center of ancient Rome. Our guide will lead you along the Via Sacra, the road of processions and triumphs where you will hear details about daily life, anecdotes about famous politicians and ancient legends. You will also get to know the most prestigious buildings in the square such as the Curia, the official seat of the Roman senators, which has come down to us intact; the tribunes of the rostrums from where heated political speeches were made; the rally or the area intended for the election of magistrates and the imposing triumphal arches.
