About this experience

It is a very nice glimpse of the Costa Rican country side, out of the usual and touristy. Driving through different crops and agriculture, giving a pretty good idea of how people daily live around this areas.

Great oportunity of inmersion in nature and the beauty from volcanic activity shown up in this beautiful river, visiting the place where this river gets it's amazing light blue color called " Teñidero"

After having all of this, but not before charging some energy back with a delicious tipical lunch. Why not to have some adeventure?. Our tubing experience will give you tons of fan going trhough floaty sections of water and slight rapids.

This activity was thought for people want to spend a fun whole day out of the hotel, with moderate walking time and chill moment at the river, just how locals would do it.

Traveling time to get there is not included at the itinerary, 1.5 hrs each way estimated.

A village with a beautiful treasure to take care of: Tree of peace.

A giant kapok tree with close to 150 feet of height and 400 years of age, diserving of one or more photos for sure.
With lots of silent stories to tell.

Tenorio volcano national park, protects the equivalent to 40 000 acres in the region of Guatuso and part of Guanacaste province. It is here where walking activity begins, going through beautiful and dense rain forest at the surroundings of Celeste river shore.

With some nice chances of wildlife sights, and 3 different spots along the river to behold to the majesty of its color: the waterfall, blue lagoon and the place where the river gets it's beautiful color.

Let's enjoy some of the local cuisine in between the national park entrance and the place we start the tubing experience

After knowing from where this beautiful color comes from and after lunch time, let's go have some adventure going down current in a tube enjoying of the different landscapes around it.
