Detailed itinerary

1

After check-in, get loaded up into a tent-covered truck and then bounce your way out to the canyon. For the next 15 minutes, feel like a tourist on Mars as the lifted tour truck drives through the deep red sand of the canyon wash.

Then, accompanied by your guide, walk through the canyon with lots of photo opportunities. Step into the desert and enter a surreal world made from stone. Learn how the sandstone walls were sculpted by water and wind.

Observe the rich and deep colors in the morning and afternoon, while at mid-day from April to September, you can see the daylight pierce through the narrow opening and reflect off the rock formations.

Upon completing the stroll through the canyon, walk up metal ramps and stairs up over the top of the canyon, and back to the entrance.
