About this experience

we are committed to making the tour the most engaging, relaxing and responsive to your tastes and needs, for a pleasant experience that will remain etched in your memories. We start with a short trip from Rome along the Appian Way, skirting the Roman aqueduct for a short stretch, then for about 30/45 minutes we will arrive in Frascati, one of the Roman castle towns famous not only for good wine, after a short tour we will head at one of the most historic S. Benedetta wineries where a guide will immerse you in a journey explaining how the WINE is produced, ending up in a delightful tasting room where you will taste their good wine as well as typical products. (about 2 hours)
Afterwards we will go to Castel Gandolfo on Lake Albano where you will visit the characteristic alleys with lake view, the Pope's summer residence (possibility of visiting the gardens by reservation based on availability excluded in the price) approximately 2 hours.

Detailed itinerary

based on the pick-up point chosen (Cinecittà or hotel in Rome centre). In about 30/45 minutes we will reach Frascati, after a tour and some photos we will then go to visit one of the oldest wine cellars of the Castelli Romani, with a tour of the structure and tastings of local products (wines-oil etc.) we will then go to Castel Gandolfo Lake Albano and the Pope's summer residence (internal visit by reservation if available not included) after a walk in the characteristic alleys of the village you can have lunch in a charming typical restaurant, both outside and in one of the caves with private rooms. (on reservation not included.) Summer residence of the Pope, (based on the opening hours decided by the Pontifical Villa) on request possibility of adding or changing itineraries to be agreed subject to reservation even during the tour... for lunch or other.
