About this experience

Signagi, one of the most beautiful cities of modern Georgia, is situated in Kakheti region and famous with its old wine culture and defensive walls and towers. On this 8-hour, small-group tour, enjoy a visit to the ethnographic museum, vineyard, and wine-cellar where you can degustate and buy some best Georgian wines. Also visit the Bodbe Monastery of Saint Nino to view the grave of Saint Nino and her holy spring. Here it is believed that anyone who bathes in this spring, will be cured from all diseases. First, head towards Bodbe nunnery where there is a panoramic view to Alazani valley. Visit the grave of Saint Nino a well known holy spring where true miracles are happening and many were healed.

Then go towards the Signagi fortified town where you will have dinner in a traditional Georgian restaurant.  After dinner and a little rest, have an excursion around the Signagi city. The town has two central squares with casinos, banks, mayor’s office and a wedding house where one can marry anytime of the day. This is the reason why Sighnaghi is called the city of lovers.

You will find many cozy places, street cafes and restaurants, where you can try the home-made Kakhetian wines: saperavi, kindzmarauli, rkaciteli, mtsvane, etc.

Visit the house of Georgian wine, Stepantsminda Church, a central museum of the city.
