Pickup included
We start with a drive up north along the the world heritage mountains of Tramuntana. We drive all the way out to Formentor. Between May and August the road gets closed early to prevent traffic congestion. The road is an unforgettable experience. We will stop at various famous viewpoints. For instance at Es Colomer on the road to Formentor, with its breathtking views.
We stop off at the magical Formentor beach, where you will have a chance to stroll on the beach and dip in the sea, have some coffee and if you are lucky - see one of Mallorcas big 5 - the big yellow water plane coming in to land.
From Platja de Formentor we head down to Pollenca Bay were we take a stroll along the historic promenade. Then we carry on to several places on world famous MA 2200 for the perfect background for your photos with rockformations and a kitesurf beach. This breathtaking road is unique in Europe as you can drive really close to the sea.
Lunch Stop in Pollença
We’ll enjoy a relaxed lunch in the charming town of Pollença, at a traditional terrace overlooking the main square. Guests can sample typical Mallorcan dishes like tapas, pa amb oli, and ensaimadas, with options to suit all tastes. A perfect break to recharge and soak in the authentic local atmosphere. After a lovely wine tasting we drive down to Bellver Castle with its breathtaking views. If time allow we stop at the castle to leisurely stroll around the place, walk down to the chapel and take stunning shots of Palma in all its glory, then tour the castle to get a better understanding of the history of the castle and in a way Mallorca.
We end the tour with a driving along at the world famous la Seu Cathedrale in Palma and the Harbour with the white shiny Millionaire yachts. Drop off at your location.
Will not enter the cathedral but if time allow we take the best and most beautiful views from the outside of these buildings/sites.
Authentic Mallorcan Winery:
From there we will drive to a wonderful authentic winery in the Tramuntana Mountains where you will tour the grounds and wine making process, then have a seat on a breathtaking terrace and enjoy a wine tasting and a traditional Mallorcean light lunch called Pa amb Oli.
