TO ENTER IN THE COLOSSEUM AND FORUM IS MANDATORY TO PRESENT A VALID ID OR PASSPORT OF ALL THE VISITORS, ADULTS AND UNDER 18 (also a picture of the id/passport is accepted). The names on the passport or ID document have to match the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
All visitors must pass through a mandatory security control which can take some time depending on the number of people visiting the monument that day. During peak times or seasons, the wait time for security checks may be significant and is UNRELATED TO THE TICKETS QUEUE.
Tours will proceed regardless of weather conditions unless the monument is closed by authorities for safety reasons
