The tour starts with boarding from 8:20 AM, though times may vary depending on the departure location. After boarding the speedboat, we travel about 40 minutes along the river to the village of Vassouras. During the rainy season, this area features deep lagoons perfect for swimming, and its main attraction is the playful capuchin monkeys. Next, we return to the boat and head to the village of Mandacaru, where you can climb the Preguiças Lighthouse for a magnificent panoramic view. There are also craft shops, refreshing caipirinhas, and ice creams with local flavors. Finally, we visit Caburé Beach, a sandy peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the sea on the other. Lunch is served at one of the beach’s restaurants. The return usually starts around 2:30 PM, with arrival back by 3:30 PM, following the pilot’s guidance.
