About this experience

The tour departs at 2:00 PM in a Toyota 4x4, following a 50-minute off-road trail to the base of the dune. From there, we continue on foot, climbing a wooden staircase that leads to the entrance of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. At the top, we begin exploring some of the most enchanting lagoons in the region: the famous Lagoa Bonita, Lagoa do Clone, Lagoa do Massarico, Lagoa do Descanso, among other hidden gems nestled between the dunes. Along the way, there will be time for refreshing swims and plenty of photo opportunities in stunning landscapes. The highlight of the tour is in the late afternoon, when we witness an unforgettable sunset over the dunes — a breathtaking display of colors and beauty. We return to Barreirinhas around 7:00 PM, ending a magical experience in the heart of the Lençóis Maranhenses' incredible nature.
