3 day Authentic Ninja Training in Historic Agatsuma

About this experience

This authentic ninja training experience will qualify you for the first two levels of the Japan Ninja Council's Nindo certification. The program will be let by instructor Matsukaze Iyoku, a descendant of the Agatsuma Sanada Ninja and certified Nindo instructor. The last living ninja, Jinichi Kawakami, is the honorary principal of the program. Three full days of training will include field training at the ruins of Iwabitsu Castle and Shugenzan Mountain where real ninja practiced, and training with real ninja weapons and tools. Plus, classroom lectures, cooking of ninja preserved food, nighttime action training, and training at sunrise. A photographer will take pictures of the training, and provide participants with a download link after the program. The main venue for the program is the Conifer Iwabitsu Resort Hotel, surrounded by the historic remains of Iwabitsu Castle. Accommodation at Conifer Iwabitsu is optional.
