Stop 1

Thingvellir National Park is a must-see attraction and recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is located on the Golden Circle route . The park is situated in a rift valley where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet, making it one of the only places in the world where you can see two continents drifting apart. It is also the site where Iceland's parliament, Althing, was founded in 930 AD, making it one of the oldest functioning parliaments in the world. You will reach to park to after a comfortable drive of 1 hour.

Geysir Geothermal Area is a must-visit attraction known for its bubbling hot springs and spouting geysers. Leaving out Thingvellier National Park , it will drive of almost 45 mins The Strokkur Geysir is the most active geyser in the area, erupting every few minutes & reaching heights of up to 30 meters.
