Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The ruins of ancient Pompeii are one of the most compelling archaeological experiences in the world. Few archaeological sites offer such an immersive experience as the excavations of Pompeii, located a few kilometers south of Naples. In the year 79 AD.C., the volcano Vesuvius erupted with enough power to buy the Roman city with 12 meters of dust and lapilli, and has preserved intact the buried city and its asphyxiated residents for almost 1700 years. The result is that even today much of the city is extraordinarily well preserved and with it much of ancient life, where visitors can stroll and browse through thousand-year-old houses, temples, intricate details about the daily life of Pompeii's inhabitants, shops, cafes, amphitheaters and even a brothel.

Stop 2

Unlike Pompeii, the visit to the ruins of Herculaneum can be concentrated in a few hours and is ideal for those who have little time but do not want to give up the unique experience of finding themselves walking through the streets of an ancient Roman city!

Herculaneum has undergone a unique conservation phenomenon that has no comparison even with nearby Pompeii. The 16-meter blanket of pyroclastic materials and mud that has submerged the city has allowed the preservation of two-story domus, inside which architectural elements in wood and marble, jewelry and furnishings, as well as many organic artifacts, have been found, which have allowed to reconstruct in detail the lifestyle of the ancient Herculaneum.

3

Imagine sitting in a picturesque restaurant, surrounded by the beauty of the slopes of Vesuvius. Local wine, like the famous Lacryma Christi, takes you on a unique food and wine journey. While tasting local delicacies, you can appreciate the harmony of flavors and aromas that blend with the wine. In addition, a short visit to the surrounding vineyards gives you the opportunity to discover up close the territory and the love dedicated to the production of this distinctive wine. All this creates an authentic and unforgettable experience on the slopes of Vesuvius.
