Detailed itinerary

1

Marvel at the stunning Stara Ćuprija (Old Bridge) in Konjic, a 17th-century stone bridge that has played an important role in the town's history. During the Cold War, the bridge was used as a communication point due to its strategic location. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular attraction for visitors to Konjic. The bridge spans the emerald-green Neretva River, providing a picturesque backdrop for photos and a tranquil atmosphere for a leisurely stroll. Note that the time needed to reach this destination from Sarajevo is about 1 hour.

2

learn about some of the mysteries of the Cold War with a visit to Tito's Nuclear Bunker, also known as Facility D-0 or the Atomic War Command (ARK D-0). This underground fortress, built to withstand a nuclear attack and shelter over 350 Yugoslav leaders and army generals, is a must-see for history buffs. Please note that it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Tito's Bunker.

3

After a day of exploration, why not take a short 40-minute drive to the breathtaking Boračko Lake? Surrounded by lush forests and offering crystal-clear waters for swimming, it's the perfect place to unwind and soak up the stunning scenery. Your guide can suggest some delicious traditional Bosnian dishes for lunch, which you can enjoy upon request. After your lakeside retreat, we'll make our way back to Sarajevo, which takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. So sit back, relax, and take in the picturesque views as we return to the city.
