Admire one of the most beautiful seaside squares in Italy.
Here you’ll also see the Grand Hotel Palazzo, a historic villa that once hosted Queen Margherita of Savoy, scientist Guglielmo Marconi, composer Pietro Mascagni, and other notable figures from Italy’s religious, sporting, and political worlds.
You’ll also discover the city’s famous seaside bathing establishments, known as “bagni” — an iconic feature of Livorno’s coastline, found only along our beautiful stretch of the Tuscan shore.

The cliff that made Livorno famous around the world… and the road featured in the iconic film “Il Sorpasso.”
Here you’ll also find several historic villas, such as Castel Sonnino, and ancient watchtowers like the Torre di Calafuria.
These coastal towers were used in the late Middle Ages as lookout points over the sea, helping to protect the coast from pirates and bandits.

After the beauty of the Via Bolgherese, your journey continues to the charming medieval village of Bolgheri — famous for its wine bars, traditional restaurants, stunning landscapes, and its place in Italian literary history.
Here, you’ll have 90 minutes of free time to enjoy lunch and explore the village at your own pace.
