Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Our tour from Attica region to our first stop which is Mycenae, will take us almost 1 1/2 hours. On our way you will be seeing the sea of the Saronic Gulf and we will have the chance to inform you on the sites that you will visit during the day. As soon as we arrive in Mycenae, you will experience the magical feeling of visiting the hometown of the greatest leader of the Trojan War, Agamemnon. You will visit his tomb and imagine the great events that took place 3.200 years ago. We will stay in the site of Mycenae for almost an hour, and then we’ll drive for almost half an hour to our next stop, which is Nafplion.

2

You will see the Nafplion Medieval Fortress, Palamidi, which was built by the Venetians in 1715. The castle is built on a mountain over the old town of Nafplion and you will have the chance to take breathtaking photos. We'll stay there for an hour and then we'll drive to the Old Town of Nafplion.

3

You will visit Nafplion, the picturesque, romantic town, which was the first capital of the newly established Greek state. If you want, you can go shopping to the beautiful little shops with hand made products which are located in the narrow streets of the town, or you can taste the Greek cuisine in one of the taverns in Nafplion and eat ice cream in one of the gelaterias in the central square of the town. (Note: food/drink are at your own expenses and are not included in our price.) We'll stay in Nafplion for 2 hours and then we'll drive for about half an hour until we reach our final destination, which is Ancient Epidaurus.

4
Stop 4

In this site, you will explore the most perfect Greek Ancient Theatre in Epidavros, with its great acoustics and aesthetics, where theatrical performances still take place during the summer. You will feel the magic of knowing that Ancient Greeks attended the great tragedies of Sophocles and Aeschylus there. Epidaurus Ancient Theatre was built in honor of Asklepios, the God of Medicine and you will have the chance to visit the Asklepieion, the place that was the first health center of the ancient world, which is in the Ancient Theatre's area. We'll stay in the site for about 2 hours and then we'll drive back for about 1 1/2hrs to reach our drop-off point in Attica.
