In our tour you will have the great opportunity to be one with nature an get to see the animals in their natural environment, experiences the true wildlife of Costa Rica, like no other places can offer. Once you arrive you be hiking in the most biologically intense place in earth for 4 hours interacting with all the wildlife, been able to see a lot of different animals like: Monkeys, peccaries, birds, crocodiles and if you are lucky the magical Tapir(biggest land mammal of Costa Rica). Just remember is not a zoo, so what ever you see is a gift from Nature.
At one point we will stop at the ranger station for lunch(not included in price) and after we will head but to the boat landing and go home.
The Sirena Park Ranger Station is situated in the heart of Corcovado National Park.
Since this station is less accessible, there is greater opportunity to spot some of the rarest rainforest wildlife. Sirena rewards the more adventurous traveler with the true experience of what National Geographic Magazine has called “the most biological place in Earth¨.
The tour begins with a 1 hour 15 transfer from Drake Bay to the Sirena Biological Station. Once there you will do a 4 hour leisurely walk along the paths around the entire station. On these trails you can usually see a vast array of wildlife including monkeys, birds, peccaries, coatis, sloths and hopefully the tapir. Then you walk back to the boat and depart for Drake Bay at 1:00-1:30 pm. Lunch is taken at the station(not included in the price)
