Mantanani Island lies off the beaten tracks of other mainstream tourism destinations. The journey to the island begins with a 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu to Kg Kuala Abai jetty in Kota Belud, followed by 1 hour boat ride to Pulau Mantanani Kecil.

0715hrs Pick up from city hotel and transfer by coach or van to Kuala Abai Jetty, Kota Belud. Estimated travel time will be 1hour 45 minutes.
0930hrs Arrival at Kuala Abai Jetty and depart to Mari Mari Dive Lodge at Pulau Mantanani Kecil. We travel 1 hour going to the small (kecil) island. Mantanani Island group consists of 3 islands namely Pulau Mantanani Besar (Big Mantanani Island), Pulau Mantanani Kecil (Small Mantanani Island) and Pulau Lungisan.
NOTE: For safety reasons, we may cancel / turn back if the weather or sea condition is deemed unsafe for the journey to proceed.
1030hrs Upon arrival at Mari Mari Dive Lodge, freshen up and help yourself to a cup of hot coffee or tea provided. Dive equipments will be provided to the guests and safety briefing will be given by our DIVE MASTER or INSTRUCTOR. After gearing up, proceed to the 1st Dive site on boat for 1st Dive.
1300hrs Back to the Dive Lodge for lunch.
1400hrs Get ready for a 2nd dive. Proceed to the 2nd Dive site on boat.
1500hrs Depart back to Kuala Abai Jetty. Upon arrival, board coach and proceed back to Kota Kinabalu.
NOTE: We may depart earlier from the island if the we foresee that there is a change in sea or weather conditions that may affect the safety of the journey.
1830hrs Arrive Kota Kinabalu.
