We will leave Guadalajara and we will travel 3:30 hrs. The first stop will be the museum of mummies. and we will be at this point for approximately 1 hour.
Here you will appreciate the mummified remains of our geographical and cultural ancestors (of variable age ranging from 1870 to 1984). The current largest collection of natural mummies in the world, cultural heritage of the Municipality of Guanajuato, of which 57 elements can be seen today in this facility.
The Pípila monument was built in honor of this mythical hero of the War of Independence and sculpted with pink stone. Here we will contemplate the beauty of the historic center and talk about why the physiognomy of Guanajuato is so different from the rest of the country, we will take the best photos and we will descend towards the center on the funicular.
We will take the funicular down to the center of Guanajuato and take excellent photos and videos.
The historic center of Guanajuato is one of the most beautiful in the country, thanks to its mining past and the wealth of the silver mines, the old buildings enjoy majestic architecture.
We will take a walking tour to enjoy these fantastic old buildings where we will talk about their history, the legend of the kiss alley and more; 2 hrs. approx.) We will take the tourist tram so as not to miss out on enjoying all the attractions of Guanajuato (1 hour approx.) and at the end we will have free time for food and shopping (2:00 hrs approx.)
Back to Guadalajara we will do 3:30 hrs. approx on the way.
