About this experience

The Temple of Poseidon also known as the second Acropolis of Athens is located in the Area of Sounion.
The God of all seas, waters and Oceans, brother and second in power only to Zeus, had his Temple in Sounio from the 5TH century B.C. The visitors can there spend about 1 hour and enjoy the Sunset and the Temple of
Poseidon.
It was built from the Athenians when thankful to Poseidon who gave them good winds during the naval battles against the Persians.
