The sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in the UAE and one of the world’s largest mosques and a massive architectural work of art that intentionally blends different Islamic architectural schools. It features 82 domes, more than 1,000 columns, 24-carat-gold gilded chandeliers and the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet. During Eid, it may be visited by more than 41,000.

Heritage Village is a replica of Abu Dhabi’s traditional past can seem a bit like an overblown souvenir shop. It does, however, offer one of the few glimpses into the emirate’s old way of life—a vision increasingly difficult to conjure amidst the skyscrapers that now dominate the city. Built in the style of a traditional oasis village, it's kitted out with goat-hair tents, traditional irrigation systems and craftsmen weaving by hand—just like the pre-oil days.

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi: The architecture of the palace is stunning and very luxurious. It uses the high end material in finishing the palaces interior such a perfect chance to enjoy a palace free of charge.
